Meadowside St Paul’s Halls, Marketgait, Dundee at 7.15pm.
For more than 130 years Dundee Photographic Society has been one of Scotland’s leading amateur photographic clubs. Our programme of meetings held on Monday evenings from early September until April each year includes lectures and presentations on various aspects of photography from top photographers from all over the UK. In addition we run many competitions and participate in various inter club events where we have enjoyed a high degree of success.
For beginners we offer free tuition classes, lots of encouragement and practical help. For experienced photographers there is the opportunity to meet like minded people, find new inspiration and take your photography to the next level.
Photographic outings of various types are organised by some of our more active members and we also organise a number of exhibitions throughout the year where members can exhibit their work.
We are actively seeking new members so if you would like to become more involved with this fascinating hobby and join a friendly and progressive society we would be pleased to meet you. Just come along to any of our meetings and we will make you very welcome.
I look forward to seeing you there.
